A meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge was held at the Centaur Suite, Cheltenham Racecourse on 16th September 2006.

Some 1800 Brethren,guests and ladies met at Cheltenham Racecourse on Saturday 16th September to celebrate the climax of the 2006 Festival for the NMSF.


The occasion was honoured by the presence of RWBro David Williamson, the Assistant Grand Master, who congratulated the Brethren of Gloucestershire.


This Celebration was the culmination of the hard work and commitment of so many and whilst it is impossible to name all those involved, we do offer our sincere thanks and congratulations to WBro Geoff Sims PAGDC, Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies and his team for ensuring that the final celebration was carried off with flawless precision.


Congratulations also go to the Lodge Charity Stewards for their passion and dedication in working tirelessly for the success of the Appeal.

RWBro Norman Lloyd-Edwards PJGW, President of the NMSF in congratulating all members of the Province, gave special thanks to WBro Colin Bendon PAGSwdB, the Festival Coordinator since needed to be sustained and purposeful action to reach such a wonderful target and during those three years he had been fully supported with the considerable patience of his wife Pam, coupled with the loyalty and energetic support of WBro Dave Sullivan PProvAGStB.


The third and final event in the Celebration packagewill be the Provincial Grand Ball which will take place in Bristol on Saturday 17th February 2007.

 

The PGM RWBro Peter Marsh has announced that this will be his final engagement before his retirement, so we offer our sincere thanks and wish him a happy retirement.
